The Wick – the Soul of the Candle
It has always been a central focus for Eika to optimize the candles in their complex coaction between wick and wax. The wick, the soul of the candle, serves as a transport medium for the liquid wax. If its dimensions concerning strength and braiding are wrong, dripping, going out and sooting of the candle are predetermined. This means every candle needs its own, individually balanced wick, a challenge Eika faces with its own wick manufacturing.
